6/22/19: Tomato Baskets! Veggies! Flowers! Spring Rolls!

Hello Anchorage! The has fresh summer veggies on their way soon. This week at market, vendors will have spring greens, radishes, bok choi, rhubarb, and other early crops. Here’s the lineup for this week:

Arctic Organics: Basil, arugula, rhubarb, scallions, sorrel, chives, pac choi, mizuna, and other early crops from the field.

Brown Dog Farm: Mixed bouquets of freshly harvested flowers, including tulips, anemone, ranunculus, bachelor buttons, calendula, poppies, and more! We will also have some spring mix and spinach.

Ed & Tina’s Kraut & Pickling: Sauerkraut (10 flavors), Pickled Beets (3 flavors), Pickled garlic.

Hatcher Pass Dahlias: Tumbler cherry tomato baskets! Nasturtium baskets! Caserta zucchini starts! Last chance for healthy, Alaska-grown dahlias at sale prices!

Seldovitsch Farm: Fresh radishes, green onions and garlic, bok choi, salad mix, spinach. Various vegetable plant starts, including salad mix, onions, garlic and herbs. Fresh eggs (duck and chicken).

Shaggy Mane Shroomery: Locally grown mushrooms: three types of oyster mushrooms and some shitake.

Turkey Red Cafe: Breads: Ciabatta, baguettes, focaccia, rosemary, olive, sourdough, three seed, date walnut & rye. Scones: Orange chocolate & tea infused raisin. Croissants: Classic, chocolate, almond, chocolate almond. Cookies. Gluten free brownies, macaroons & amaretti.

Vang’s Fresh Foods: Spring rolls, egg rolls, prepared salad and nava (tapioca drink).

Yang Family Farm: Bok choi, mint, radishes.
